"Ursula 1000 - Boop 12"
now available
He's back! Ursula 1000 returns with the first single "Boop" from his eclectic forthcoming album Here Comes Tomorrow. On the A side is "Boop," a swingin' be-bop house monster featuring Italian jazz siren Barbara De Dominicis alongside a spy-film inspired jazz percussion re-work by Skeewiff. On the B side is the zany funk groove of "Kaboom!" featuring Japanese chanteuse Izumi Ookawara with a high-octane blaxploitation breakbeat remix by The All Good Funk Alliance."
FUCK YEAH! It's been awhile and though I loved 'Ursaledelic', what was missing off that CD was some new material. Of course with any luck there'll be a tour to coincide with the new release. On the down side I can't figure out why he keeps spinning in "Halo". I don't mean no harm, but the Yuppy & Khaki set don't seem to get the full flavor of the tunes my boy be dropping. Alright, now I sound like i'm writting for VICE magazine. Anyway check it out if you dig that whole James Bond, cocktails and lounge vibe.
Ciao Darlings
