Jeremy Widdles - Full time junkie, part time accordion busker. Claimed to have been in telepathic contact with an eldritch race of terror-gods, whose 'messages' from the 'shadow of reality' were found scrawled in blood across the walls of the squalid hotel room he vanished from over ten years ago.

Leslie Moregreen - Dominatrix/Poet-Mystic. Blogs 'channeled' verse under the name "Feral_Cuddle" and has three daughters from her ex-boyfriend, and former guru, Jebediah Perdurabo. Perdurabo is doing maximum time after an argument with Leslie ended with his trailer home/improvised temple/meth lab being burnt down promptly before his arrest.

Douglas Barnes - Currently stripped of both his badge and gun by the Sorrow County Police Department for conduct unbecoming of an officer. Hobbies include recreational power drinking, prostitutes (because they make him feel 'romantic') and pasting clipped obituaries over mannequin heads before taking them down to the range for target practice.

Karen Hanson - Never looked back.

30 Minutes of Books (more or less)

featherynscale posted a 30 Days of Reading Prompt in which the poster has to entertain a rather bored and psychotic young sultan by reading to them a new book every night for the next month or else they'll be execu... hang on I'm being told I'm thinking of a '1001 Arabian Nights'.

Ahem, let's start over again then.

Thirty Days. Thirty Books. Thirty posts. But life's too short and my attention span shorter (being a proud member of Generation Atari) so I'll try to do this all at once. Warning I might get bored and start making up books. But then again... I find the best books often are:)
