One thing I think we all love about the Con is the swarming costumed masses. This is the chief ingredient in making the con the Fanboy Mardi gras we all know and love. Well that and the 72 hour drinking binge, the 'Dark Elves Gone Wild' bare breast bonaza and to mention the infamous 'Room Parties' where I once witnessed an R2 unit get horribly sodomized by a Wookie (or a really hairy guy from New Jersey now that I think about it). It was the single most horrible thing I had ever seen... that is until the Sex Jawa's came out of the bathroom.

I still wake up in a cold sweat screaming:"THESE AREN'T THE DROIDS YOU'RE LOOKING FOR!"

*ahem*

Anyhoo... there's nothing quite like a really cool costume to give your buzz that David Lynch dream sequence quality to it. But what's really cool is a bad costume! The kind of bad that makes us wince, spit out our drinks or double over in hysterics. Something so mind boggling terrrible, something like.. well like Mr.Deathstar above or some of these fine folk over here!


Now this is some Cosplay I could get down with! Freeze me in some carbonite Baby and tell me i've been a bad, bad Han Solo!


So we've learned that Stormtroopers don't get drug tested. But what's important is the look on the Little Man in the stroller. That is the quintesential 'WTF' face.


I should warn you though. This is the South and the locals have some issues regarding the possibility of a bunch of clones walking about: "Lissen up now son. We don't take none too kindly to Homer-sexuals, liber-als and you Sterm-trooper types. Yer all nuthin' but a bunch of clones aincha? A bunch of them there Jango fett clones, huh boy?"


Finally a reminder. I don't care how stoned you are or how cute you think they look. This is Animal Abuse!
