Destroy All Monsters: Hell March to Tokyo
Thrash guitars, grinding beats and giant monsters! If you had telepathy you'd probably see this video being played with the volume cranked up to 10 in my brain-theater an inordinate amount of the time. At work, while commuting on MARTA, waiting on line at the supermarket or while commiting unspeakable sexual acts in a rubber monster mask! (ohhh like you haven't!)
Destroy All Monsters (1968 film trailer):
"Nobody has anything to fear from us... but we are going to control you now. It is the same spaceship you saw near the moon, that should convince you we are not from your world. We are here to make you our slaves!"
What happens when Tokyo Disco Dominatrixes from Outter Space learn how to mind control giant radioactive monsters? All my ten year old fantasies meet all my 35 year old fantasies for a two hour Toho Technicolor free for all!
Destroy All Monsters (clip from the Final Battle):
"The Monsters are waiting!"
One of my biggest regrets as a child (besides the no friends thing) was my inability to make the "Ghidra Noise" at will. I loved nothing more than playing with China Town scored Kaiju dolls trying to get that Thermin Shriek down just right. Alas...
This last one is on here in the faint hopes that somebody might be able to tell me the band and the song being played in this D.A.M. DVD commercial. Sounds vaguely Prodigy/Crystal Method to me but what do I know?
