the details. I think the thing that bothered me was the lack of attention to logical plot detail. I don't mean the minor but annoying pre-filled Zippo thing.
It was the lack of a cohesive policy in symptoms of "the crazies". Were they able to cooperate with each other and carry out long-range plans? Were they like regular people w/no impulse control? Were they suddenly infected with an uncontrollable urge to kill and stupidity? Every one of these possibilities is counteracted by some point of the plot...
