So Naked City was a lot of fun. Flubbed a few lines during the reading and I need to work on pacing myself a bit better but I think I'm making some real strides against the stage fright that's always haunted me. Baby steps I suppose. However the other readers all delivered some amazing pieces. I learned about the awkward perils of the term 'Pound Town', Sexual Asperger's Syndrome, how to steal porn mags in the 80s & that sex is just one messy metaphor for baseball. Great job to all involved. Right now though I'm dragging ass. I didn't get much sleep last night (adrenalin crash + bad dreams = rough morning). That and I spent this much needed gorgeous day outdoors doing some landscape work. Emotionally drained. Physically exhausted. Gonna go crawl up with a stack of comic books and blast some Ninja Tunes like it was 1998.
