I went over to my friends house to kill some time. Maybe burn one and catch an old Cowboy flick on the widescreen. No one answered the door, but I could hear his dogs barking in the backyard so I hopped the fence and figured I'd surprise him. I found him sitting on a lawn chair over by the Iris'. Taking a shot of Makers Mark straight from the bottle, a shotgun cradled between his legs, his dogs flanking him like imperial guards. Gun smoke lingered on the still air. The freshly mowed grass was covered in gore & white makeup. A single humungous red shoe floated in the bushes. As I walked up on Bill he was sitting there with a blank look and half a cigarette dangling unlit in his mouth.
"You gotta light?" He shouts.
"What in the hell happened?" I ask.
"WHAT? Speak up man I can't hear you.."
"WHAT... THE ... FUCK ... HAPPENED ...?" I shout back, must be double barrels ringing in the ears.
"Clowns!"
"Clowns?"
"Murder-Clowns!"
He jerks his head to indicate behind the fence by the pool. I fish out a light for him and lean over to poke my head over the hedges to see what he's talking about. There are roughly twelve bodies laid out. One next to the other. All of them in bright happy make up making their deathshead grins even more unbearable. White jumpers, faux hobo hats, ruffled collars & a rainbow of wigs were all riddled with bullet holes. One was obviously mauled by the dogs. Puddles of blood from the corpses branched into little rivers and went down the empty pool. Flies were already buzzing around the fresh meat. I lean back over to Bill and light one of my own.
"One more time now?"
"Murder-Clowns!"
"Uh-huh..." I pull up an empty lawn chair and take a seat next to him. Neither of us say another word. Quietly we pass the bottle between each other. The sun shines down and a light breeze brings music out of the wind chimes.

I'm right there with you sister about the creepy factor of clowns...But I don't believe that justifies clown murder.

Hobo clowns are just down right All American
Zombie clowns suck ... the make up makes the headshot difficult
Break dancing Ronal Reagan clowns ... ?!?!
French Clowns are well... French
