Dec. 14th, 2012 05:40 pmI'm all for freedom of the press, but I'm seriously getting pissed off at seeing reporters flock around crying families or shoving microphones in six year old's faces as they stumble out of the front lines of this national tragedy. Look I get it, if it bleeds it leads and the 24 hour news cycle makes it bread and butter on 'tragedy porn'. But talk to the cops, to local officials or whatever 'experts' you have in the field... but leave the families and children alone right now. I doubt there's anyone watching the news that needs to know how a little boy who escaped this horrible rampage 'feels' or what thoughts a grieving family has just hours after learning their child has been injured or murdered. On the other hand, I'm all for that national discussion on firearms we have to keep putting off because it's too 'soon'.
