The Night Electric: Hooked up with the Princess at the Highlander, later met up with Red at the EAYC, and ended the evening with the Magpie down at the Cafe Perilous. Post rainy day Terminus and a bitch of cold hung in the air tonight, but I danced through L5P nevertheless. Went looking for Nurse Feisty on the dance floor, wound up getting hit on by the DJ instead. Talked deep with artists of all mediums, drank hard with them in their boisterous glory and between our visions we laughed defiantly. So let the world end tomorrow and when it does let it end knowing my measure complete. I count myself amongst the finest of souls, I burned in words for all who would listen and engaged in adventures that most would chalk up as fiction. Count me amongst the ranks of Princess and Magpie, of the Drac Pack and southern Syrens. Count me amongst angels and monsters alike. Count me amongst the last chances and second winds blowing fierce. And bring your preordained penalties and neatly cordoned apocalypses to my feet and I will crush them beneath the tread of my stagger. For I am the man that I was meant to be and my song is a fire against which all their doomsdays shudder. Now, now to pass out drunk listening to the wind and the ghosts howl themselves free .
