1. I suffer an irrational prejudice in that I am always leery around white guys who openly wear gold necklaces. A New York childhood will do that to the quiet and introspective of disposition.

2. Israel, Colombia, Italy, France, Spain, The United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Canada are just some of the amazing lands I have found myself traveling through. A lot more than actual states here in America that I've spent the night in.

3. My hair is naturally curly when not shaved or reduced to a stubble-dusting of Male Pattern Boldness. When I was a little kid I had quite the afro and I actually once smuggled a Chewbacca action figure in it past the watchful eyes of my teachers.

4. First punk show? Dayglo Abortions with the Pink Lincolns. Can't remember the club now, somewhere out in Jupiter, as in Florida not some poetic allusion to the solar system.

5. When I was a kid I had Super Friends themed bed sheets. The pillow cases had the Super Friends standing assembled on one side and on the other was the Legion of Doom. I used to think that depending on what side of the pillow I slept on dictated whether I would have good dreams or bad.

6. In my brief employment as a telemarketer during the 90s I used to recite my poetry or passages from whatever book I was reading on random answering machines.

7. My first stage appearance was actually at a sleep away camp in upstate New York, I did a one-boy show reenacting a scene from a Tomb of Dracula comic book. It involved me using a black plastic trash bag as both the Count's cape and as a dress when playing his victim. I received neither boo nor cheers but horrified silence. It would be twenty years until I would be convinced to go on stage again.
