Small town hosts CalamariCon 2005- attacked by Giant Squid Monsters from the Dark Realms. Terrorizes locals with giant eyeball that shoots lightning & hypnotizes the weak willed. FEMA fails to respond in time.

Townspeople display one of the Giant Squid Monsters, who was felled when it floated into power lines. "We got lucky this time" Stated Sheriff John Dexter Ward

One scientist offered this explanation:


As you can see when avant garde performance art group, the residents were whisked away into the dreaded dark realms of shuddering madness, they were forced to mate with elder gods to produce this... The Peeping Pink Attack Squid. Scientists are still baffled by how the eyeball generates enough energy to emit bolts of electricity it uses to fry local fishermen.
