A long time ago I realized that though I lacked charisma, luck or looks I seemed to have been blessed with a hell of an imagination. So I began 'making shit up'- writting, drawing, mixing, dancing & my favorite telling tall tales. So while i'm sadly stuck behind my wall of awkward silences in real life... behind my quiet demeanor the world is a strange & marvelous place filled with adventure, romance & redemption. - poetry:
What can I say here. I love poetry for the same reason I love sex & candy bars. It makes life sweeter and a little more bearable. If you want a thesis on aesthetics or the soul talk to some of the cats on my FList, I just like the prutty words! - ska:
I love when music genres mix and mesh into a unique hybrid. Take British Pub singalongs and give it a caribbean back beat and then just go man, go. - theater:
I know way to many people in theater not to have an interest and I believe that 'acting' is just 'self induced schizophrenia' at times but what I dig about plays is that they share some qualities with ceremonial magick. That the stage is a magick circle from which the story tellers try to take you someplace else, they invoke mood & banish the dark things inside the audience. That and unlike the movies, it's possible to see the same play a hundred times but you never see the same performance twice. As I said, a lot of my friends(or people willing to admit they know me in public) are involved here so i'm a little biased... but it's great fun to try and tell a story through this medium, though i'm not terribly good at it yet. - writing:
