The wrap up: Notes from the end of the day

jack_babalon~ Had a blast last night. "Fight Scenes" Was the best Dailies I've seen yet. What a short run though (four days!?!). Normally the theme for these short films is something like Mauve or Ruminations on the existential absurdity of it all. It was fun seeing local directors cut loose.
infiniteapathy I'm very impressed man. A great lil' zombie flick for a guy who doesn't dig zombie flicks. And i'm quite the living dead snob. It reminded me of Tetsu the Iron man, if you don't get the reference check out http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096251/ or http://www.mandiapple.com/snowblood/tetsuo.htm . initiate did a John Woo version of a cross between Starsky & Hutch meets the Shield. A very sweet freshman effort. My favorite was a surprise though... "Dave vs Jeremiah" which used a skit from BBC's Spaced and took it to another level. Bravo.
~More Play writting tonight. I was informed that after this script is done i'll have to...*gasp*... probably write a second version, and a third, and so and so on. Plus attend readings and crap like that. WTF? I figured it was like Hollywood. I write something, they script doctor it, then the ad execs rewrite it until you get a game of chinese whispers going.
~I am so in Love with my new apartment!
