DAMAGE REPORT

Quick Update:
Monday night I took my bike for a ride through the neighborhood. Turns out to have been a bad idea. I was going down Archwood-which is one steep hill at a quick clip when I noticed an approaching pothole ahead of me in the dark. I swerved left and didn't notice a smaller hole in the road. I hit it and flipped off the bike landing elbows and head first and sliding down a few feet with my bike careeening behind me. Short story- bad damage to both the arms and i'm pretty banged up in the head. Luckily i'm a pretty thick skulled guy(as most of my ex's will attest to) and I got by w/no concussion. Having trouble straightening out my arms completely, but I can move my fingers (having trouble typing but I can manage). I'm planning on getting an x-ray in an ER somewhere once the swelling goes down a bit. With a little luck and a bless of the Buddha & the goddess
this won't fuck with me spinning Saturday.
I keep thinking of Sgt.Barnes in the movie Platoon-
"Take the Pain!"
I'll resume my filthy jet-stream of conscious naratives soon though. See y'all Saturday.

I have no money right now, no health insurance, and no ride. On the bright side it doesn't hurt that bad, I have no discoloration and there ain't much they can do right now other than prescribe pain-killers and Ibuprfoen for the swelling. I need an x-ray yes, but if it's a fracture (most likely scenario) all they can do is slap it in a sling, if it was broken I'd be screaming as I typed this,same w/a dislocation. I'm gonna try and see if I can get in touch w/William to give me a lift down there. But like I said I'm hurting for money and I'm not sure what else I can do?
By the by- thanks for your concern(seriously)that helps a lot.

if there is no dicoloration and the bone isn't moving it prolly is a fraction. do you have it wrapped up? go to the store (if you can) and get an ace bandage for it.

I'll see what I can do kiddo. Shit i'll tear up some old t-shirts if I gotta for a bandage and make myself a sling by tearing up an old pillow case.
Oh well- maybe there's a scene for crash victims like in that old J G Ballard novel. ;)

lol, er i don't think it is as intense as JG ballard.
but find some stuff and wrap it up. to bad i am down here and u are up there, saying i have a whole bunch of wraps here!!! oh well.
