Underneath the kaleidoscope moon...
Oct. 9th, 2006 02:39 pmUnderneath the kaleidoscope moon, naked in a garden of masks, basking in the light of your chesire smile, there in the depths of those cat-wise eyes, where my reflection is framed so that I can see myself for the first time. Now, where I was certain to find only a scared little boy hiding behind the wounds of his luck, I see a man brave enough to fight for your love. Where once I could only make out the passing shadows of a damaged monster, I witness now the wings of my nervous angel spread. Where once I ruled a kingdom of shattered ghosts with only a crown of arrogance, I find in his place, a pilgrim approaching the golden shores of Hope. Where I thought I would see myself standing alone, I can now see no part of me that is not us.
