Us vs Them
The Ides of March
~Rob m.
A mild winter has yielded an early Spring here in the ATL. The Dogwoods and Magnolias are blooming early. I can't do justice to it yet with the camera, but I did my best. I really wanted you guys to get a sense of one of the best parts about living here. The trees briefly form this canopy of angel white petals along the side streets and roads punctuated by the occasional burst of Geisha Pink petals. The effect in the right lighting is simply majestic. It's been beautiful all week but i've been caught up in theatrical work and have missed most of the light. Today I got off work early and raced home to try and beat the rain (which has an unfortunate side effect of stripping most of the bloom from the branches, but gives the sewers a post parade confetti feel to them) and managed to get in a good half hour of sporadic shooting before it came down.
Anyway more to come.
