So I have a blind date this weekend. To be honest i'm a little nervous but all I have to do is strive to remember some of the lessons my friends have given me here on livejournal and I should be alright.

Lesson #5: When meeting the parents never, ever forget the safe word!


Lesson #16: A gentleman should always operate the machine gun when the lady drives.


Lesson #23: Try to find activities that you'll both be interested in.


Lesson #32: I cannot stress this last one enough. No mummifying on the first date... and I think we've all been there, right esmio06!?!!


Okay, that's just a few off the top of my head. Did I forget anything?

I have no further dating advice, but I do ask that if you should find out where you can get a harem, that you pass that relevant information along.

You can't fool me... everyone who's read your journal knows you aleady have a sizable harem of your own and that there's a two year waiting list to apply to become a member (speaking of which has anyone gotten to my application letter yet?)

Also, don't forget Brock's advice:

1. No corsage. If you have one, throw it out the window with an imperious "No."

2. Don't pull out her chair or kiss her hand or anything like that.

3. Just be yourself.

4. Make sure your wallet doesn't have a cartoon bee on it.

5. Don't say "score" or anything close to "mystery date."

6. Don't do that see-food joke. (Because she's probably totally heard that one already.)

Hey man, we used to call that the 'Pussy Hustle' down in Miami, though our variation used an obnoxious drunk instead of a ski-masked thug and the 'hero' would do the arm behind the back thingy and escort the drunk out the door with a slight kick to the ass. Though kudos for the "John Wayne vs Charles Bronson" styles of mock ass whupping! Anyway ppreciate the offer but with my luck i'd probably pick a fight with the wrong guy wearing the same mask and end up hospitalized for my efforts.

I dated a headbanger when I was a kid actually (well 16 which seems like being a kid now) so after i've had to 'make the sexy' to Iron Maiden's Run to the Hills (really is a song about the decimation of native American cultures really what you want to get it 'on' to?)... so believe me Dokken would've been an improvement.
