Signs of the times...

"Stand Down"
Above is the internationally recognized sign for "Stand Down". Originally posted in fine resteraunts around the world, with the distinct purpose of informing any American tourist who might be dining there that standing on a chair and bellowing out their order (as was the custom at the time) would simply not be tolerated in that particular establishment.
Personally I would like to this sign posted at sporting events, business meetings, political primaries, theatre rehearsals, comic books shops on a Wednesday, city hall meetings, whenever someone interviews Quentin Tarrantino publicly, whenever Al Pacino is 'acting' and directly on the front door to most night clubs.

"Get Off Your Cross!"
The above was once the Internationally recognized sign for Bad Religion (a punk band so verbose that even Jello Biafra was quoted as calling them a "Bunchafuckin'knowitalls" ). The sign however has recently been appropiated by the international community to indicate "Get Off Your Cross!" The signs popularity is so prolific that even countries that don't have a significant Christian population often use it. A recent U.N. survey stated that one possible reason was because the terms "Get off your Yin-Yang", "Get off your Star of David", "Get off your Crescent Moon" and "Get off your inverted Pentagram" weren't felt to have delivered the same verbal impact as the traditional "Cross".
Recommended as a comment for most LJ posts, internet chatrooms, Myspace profiles and outside churches.
