Terminus: U.S. 23

Nothing up my sleeve
Well I hope you've enjoyed my brief tour of the wonders of US 23/Moreland Avenue. It was what I would call quite a 'Scooby doo shoot' to be honest ("Hey gang I know a groovy little highway with an abandoned bank where the hobos live, an empty Masonic temple, a burnt down psychic astrologers house AND a Giant Cowboy Chicken... I smell a mystery!"). So i'll end this with three shots from Davis Plaza in Little Five, one of the more popular ports along the River 23. It was here where I once watched a guy who looked like Iggy Pop with a beard fight a homeless priest wielding a Smiley (I miss the Point!), where my old friend Bud led the local punks in an anti-Nazi uprising (I miss him) and where a GHB induced Jack Babalon tried to pick up Riot-Goth's & Gutter Punk Grrls (I Sooo miss the 90s). Actually if you live here in Terminus City, chances are you most likely have a story of your own about the 5, the Square or the Plaza. In fact that's what I love about it - the way the storys, our storys even, have seeped into the geography to mythologize the area and by our association, ourselves.
Anyway... much gratitude to my buddy Jacques Cuse & his lovely assistant for chauffering my happy ass up and down Moreland on a Sunday afternoon and providing back up in case of hostile "Wino Satyrs". Thanks also for the feedback F-List. I was a little taken aback by the response to the "Outpost Zero/Old Bank" stuff and the encouraging words. Much obliged:)
