I used to dig the LC&IF b/c they just had such a wonderful dynamic between them (one of the best comic friendships up there with Booster Gold & Blue Beetle in my book) a real chemistry. To be honest I think Heroes for Hire would make an excellent TV show if not a movie.

Did you see Nite Owl?

I've always wanted to do a Rorschach costume, but I really want to figure out a practical way to make the facial patterns shift.

No I didn't... a shame he was my favorite of the Watchmen.

I bet once the movie gets made someone will come up with a way of making liquid pattern masks.

On Friday, I also saw an Ozymandias, but he was moving in that purposeful way that says either "I should have been in a panel 15 minutes ago" or "Christ, I've gotta take a piss", so I didn't get a picture of him. I did see a different Rorschach than this guy, though.

Great costumes.living the Con through other folks photos here.
The thing I always enjoyed about Power man and Iron fist was they were fallable, got their asses nearly kicked every issue,And were broke all the time.
Like me!
Also that was during that period in Marvel books where every book they put out was gold in one way or another.
No over used crap, when Captain Mar-vell died it was a big deal.
Hell I even liked the Champions.

Yeah now that you mention they were always almost flat broke. Come to think of it they remind me now of Raymond Chandler characters (minus the vices for the kids).

The Champions weren't a bad team. I never quite figured out how a Russian spy, a Greek demi-god, two mutants and demonically possessed biker decided to all hang out but hey... it's the 70's fuck it! It was kind of a weird time at Marvel back when they had Shogun Warriors and Godzilla stomping around the place.

I bet Mar-vell is a skrull!
