1972- As the "Boomers" go through the transistions between "Love" generation to "Me" generation. "Punk Rock" is still a glimmer in the eyes of the MC5 and Lou Reed. M.A.S.H. Premieres, so does "Sanford & SON" (This is it Louise! The big one!). "Watership down" comes out ("Where will you run prince of a 1000 enemies")as well "Jonathan Livingston Seagull"(You know mystic sea birds and parables and shit). Besides the "Godfather"- "Deliverance" came out("Squeel boy! Squeel!") The first "Cafe" in Amsterdam is opened as well. This was a weird year since my folks were ready to move to the U.K. because of the war. The old man had a low draft number I'm told but he burnt his card anyway. Since he was born and raised in Birmingham,England, he had a good chance of pulling it off too. So there's probably a "Britpop" version of me a few parallel universes down the street. Strewth.
Anyhoo let's have a looksie...

Wouldn't dream of it. My Dad took me to the movie when I was a kid- I loved that flick. "The prince of a 1000 enemies" line is one of my favorites. I still get chills when I remember it.
