Getting close to lift-off
Apr. 21st, 2009 04:34 pm
Well she's an ugly brute of a skeleton, but I finally finished the first draft on the plot summary. It comes a close second in excruciating-fist-pounding-the-skull frustration, with only the Q Letter as being more horrific a proposal to write up (who knew the novel would be the easy part?) Still I've now got a rough outline to work with from here and it can only get better with each clean up. Going over it tomorrow with one of the best copy-writers I know to give it a hopefully terse and charming polish before sending her off.
I know I shouldn't be... but I'm really psyched up for this.
Heading out to Vee's place for dinner and sanctuary, so I'll be sans internet until tomorrow.
Be well everyone,
-JB
