Crueler than the Latverian monarch, Doctor Von Doom! As unrelenting in his blood thirsty ambitions as the music of Wumpscut! Meaner than a hung-over SS werewolf on a Chanukah full moon! Behold the secret origin of Prince Frederick William Victor Albert of Prussia... aka Ze Kaiser!

Kaiser Sorbet

Infamous for his bold epistemological declaration of - "All of you know nothing; I alone know something; I alone DECIDE" - making the Kaister here the first politician to play the 'Decider' card almost a century before American conservatives would flirt with friendly facism. It is rumored that upon Wilhelm II's death, Adolf Hitler had the Kaiser's brain placed in a steam powered mechanical juggernaut that was used to terrorize the Allied forces through the twilight of the Second World War. This however is uncategorically false. In fact the mechanical juggernaut was powered by Vril energy and the Führer only broke out the cyber-zombie Kaiser during cocktail parties in Berlin, where the 'Kaisermonculus' would sing German folk music for the entertainment of members of Third Reich high society. These songs would later be covered by the band Death In June on such albums as 'Kaiser, Crowley & Rainbows', 'Rune Ballads of the Iron Empire' and 'Yggdrasil, My Nizzle'.

The Kaisermonculus was eventually captured by the OSS during Operation Paperclip, when the United States military covertly recruited several important Nazi scientists after VE Day to help get the American rocket program off the ground. However the Kaisermonculus was soon stripped down for spare parts and the Vril Capacitor Engine that acted as Wilhelm's heart would be later apporpiated by Wernher von Braun for use as an ashtray. The Kaiser's brain meanwhile was placed in a jar of life sustaining 'vita-water' ('Brain-in-Jar' tech was all the rage in the early 50's) and to this day sits on a shelf in an undisclosed location nestled between the brains of Ronald Reagan and Ludwig Wittgenstein.

Join us next week for 'Comic Book Wednesday' when we look at Derrida's critical deconstruction of Jack Kirby's work on Kamandi and we interview the tiny gnome that lives in the beard of Alan Moore about his upcoming projects for Top Shelf Press. See you then, True Believers!
