So I placed an order w/1-800-FLOWERS for Mothers Day earlier and I just got the confirmation email. Naturally I give it a good going over and spot a few typos. The main one being where I say "To a wonderful Mother-Thank you for the years of Hummers & Wisdom of Stregh & Love...". Needless to say I had to call back immediately and get the customer service rep to realize that i've never had a Hummer to thank my Mother for. It's supposed to read "... years of humor & wisdom..." oh and yes I know, there's a 'N' in StreNgth. I had to actually explain that to them as well, insisting that, even if they doubt the ability of my spelling skills, I would like to have it spelt out this way for my own sense of satisfaction. They made the corrections, but I was this close to being the fall guy in a 21st century update on Sophocles' Oedipus Rex. Yikes!!!
