I imagine that there are all sorts of child labor laws that must have been written just to cover vigilante side-kicks in the DCU.

1- Your sidekick is not allowed to wear just green underwear in public.

2 - Your sidekick cannot bring his hand-held explosives and batarang laden utility belt to school.

3 - Your sidekick must be at least 18 years of age before being allowed into the Cat Woman's dungeon to 'rescue you'.
