jack_babalonI've been doing a lot of work on the novel's relaunch and haven't had much time to post much content outside of imagery. Managed to finish the first draft on the new scene and kept it at the publisher's requested 8 pages. I'm surprised at how well I've adapted to the demands of an actual publisher, the deadlines and limitations have really helped me strip the narrative down to the essentials. What I like is having someone there to give me boundaries creatively, if for no other reason than it gives me something to push against. Still, need a break from Unity. Going to take a day or so off before diving back into the second draft. Do some odd jobs and get some other writing in hopefully.
Meanwhile, house sitting has left me spending much of my time alone, which sucks because I experience a heightened sense of amorousness after finishing up a story. All amped up for a dance without a song to be heard.
