High Noon Night
Jun. 5th, 2004 04:43 pmHigh Noon breathing down my neck, I gotta get my head out of the bad drama fog here and get ready to spin tonight.
You'd think it should be no big deal, I've been spinning the last three years or so in some form or another at the same club. Still I always get butterflies in my stomach going in.I have images of train wrecked sets and people crashing into each other on the dancefloor until the bodies start piling up in mounds and then we see it on the local TV news "Tonights story trainwrecking dj kills 23 on club dancefloor. We go live to the scene..." Image of the BeatMatch police dragging me off in chains. Agghh!!! One of my theater friends once told me "The better the stage fright' sometimes, the better the performance."
Still with a little luck and a lot of Jack (Nothing like grain alcohol & caffeine to call the muses down off the mountain).
Well off to work I go.
